Panel Cutting at JM Joinery

Sheet materials cut to size, ready to use

If you’re fed up of fighting with full sheets on site or in a small workshop, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you.

At JM Joinery we offer a panel cutting service so your boards turn up cut, square and ready to assemble – saving you time, mess and mistakes.

What we offer

  • Panels cut to size from your cutting list or drawings

  • Straight, clean and accurate cuts for a proper fit

  • Batch cutting for repeat jobs and regular trade work

  • Simple drilling / cut-outs where needed (e.g. sockets, sinks, vents – by arrangement)

  • Optional basic edge prep on request (scribe cuts, oversize for scribing, etc.)

You give us the sizes – we give you a stack of parts that are ready to go.

Materials we cut

We regularly cut:

  • MDF and moisture-resistant MDF

  • Plywood – birch, hardwood and softwood

  • Chipboard and MFC (melamine-faced chipboard)

  • OSB and basic construction boards

  • Solid timber panels (within size limits)

If you’re not sure about a material, ask before you order and we’ll confirm if it’s suitable.

Ideal for

  • Joiners & carpenters needing accurate boards without tying up the workshop

  • Kitchen & bedroom fitters wanting carcass parts cut and stacked, ready to build

  • Builders & shopfitters who don’t want to wrestle 8x4s on site

  • DIY projects where you want everything cut right first time

One sheet or a van-load – we’re set up for both.

Make the most of your boards

We can help you:

  • Optimise your cutting list to reduce waste

  • Allow for edges, scribing and trimming where needed

  • Keep matching grain direction where possible on plywood and veneered boards

Tell us what you’re building and we’ll be straight with you about the best way to cut it.

How to order

  1. Send us your cutting list (sizes, quantities, thickness and material).

  2. Tell us if you’ll supply the boards or want us to supply them.

  3. We’ll price it, confirm lead time and get it booked in.
